Say that 3 times fast! Toast is so versatile and each one of these is so unique and delicious in its own way. We like to cut ciabatta or french bread into little square pieces and go crazy with different toppings so we can try them all! It's like a box of assorted chocolates. These are a great snack, lunch, breakfast, or hors d'oeuvre. There's something for everyone and just picking the next one to eat can be amusing.
We left one piece with no topping because we want you to give us suggestions! Let us know what kind of toast topping you want to see or that you think we should try next!
From Left to Right
Goat cheese with sliced tomatoes, red onions and green onions,
Whipped feta with shaved brussel sprouts, red cabbage, and arugula.
Goat cheese with sliced radishes, yellow and orange bell peppers, and olive oil drizzle.
Cream cheese with blueberries, a sprig of mint, and goji berries.
Burrata cheese with genoa salami.
Sliced tomatoes with prosciutto, arugula and an olive oil drizzle.
Avocado with red pepper flakes and olive oil drizzle.
Peanut butter with sliced banana, chopped dates, and honey drizzle.
Note: We brushed every piece of toast with some extra virgin olive oil and then put them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 15 mins (but watch closely) on a sheet pan. Once they are out, SALT THEM. Iron chef Jeffrey Zakarian taught us this trick and it actually makes a huge difference!
