FaceFood Friday Salad

We love our Salads.  They are packed with the vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants that will support healthy skin when eaten in conjunction with the use of a Serum.  

FaceFood Friday Salad

Serves 4


  • 1 bunch of roasted red beets
  • Beet greens (from bunch of beets!)
  • 1 bunch of radishes
  • 1 seedless cucumber
  • 3 endives
  • 1 Pomegranate
  • 2 6 ounce can of solid white tuna in water
  • 1 large bunch of spinach
  • 1 package of arugula
  • 1 half red cabbage

Grandma’s Salad Dressing

  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard
  • ¾ cup of your favorite olive oil (we use our OlivesenFolie)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

For the beets.  Set oven temperature to 375 degrees.  Wash beets and cut off greens and save for salad.  Place beets in aluminum foil and roast for 45 minutes (check after 30 minutes with a knife.  If the knife pierces the beets easily they are done).  Let beets cool in foil.  Remove from foil and take skin off with a paper towel by rubbing skin.  Cut beets into quarters.

Place washed spinach, arugula and beet greens in bottom of salad bowl.  

Slice cucumbers. Slice endives.  Seed Pomegranate.  Quarter radishes.  Thinly slice Red cabbage.  Open and drain Tuna.  Place all ingredients on top of greens (see photo for idea). Mix salad dressing and serve on the side.
