The Summer Lipsticks Everyone Will Be Wearing

Some things you need to know before starting! The tuna steak takes about 2 minutes or less to sear and doesn't need to be marinated so we suggest chopping all the slaw veggies first. Then make the dressing (this can even be done the night before) which will help enhance the flavor. Thirdly, you can prepare the sauce for the Tuna (of which half is used in the pan while it's cooking, and the rest is used as a sauce).

We spoke to some Sephora makeup artists and they agreed that glosses are the new mattes for the summer. The verdict: Mattes, especially nudes, will remain a staple lip color since they go with everything, are easy to wear mess free, and are trendy yet timeless. However, lip glosses and metallics will definitely be stealing the spotlight.
MUST HAVE COLORS
With summer around the corner, bright shades are making a comeback and this year is no exception. Just like the fashion industry, there are definitely popular hues to keep an eye out for. We talked to a few different makeup artists who agreed that this summer's must-have lip colors are Corals (think retro) and lilac or lavenders (purple-ish). Depending on your style, you can go for a more subtle or extreme version of these colors as you will see!
SEPHORA FAVS
A Canadian brand called Bite Beauty has a very popular lipstick formula ($30 CAD) that's gaining a lot of fans fast. It's long lasting, smooth, and all natural. They have a perfect purple/pink/fuschia for the summer in a shade called Sangria! Sangria is a good transition plum before you attempt a real purple. If you are looking for a more BOLD lavender then Lavender Jam is your shade. They also have an electrik coral shade we love called Pickled Ginger.
Stila also has a liquid lipstick ($31 CAD) we love that is extremely long lasting. A shade of purple that is perfect for this summers trend was pointed out to us as a must have by Sephora make-up artists. It's called como and it's gorgeous (scroll down to see!)
Another lip product brand you should have for the summer is NudeStix . Their lip and cheek pencil is multi-purpose and comes in a variety of easy nude shades ($28 CAD). Bonus: They all come with a lil sharpener and case! They also have matte, satin, shimmer or high shine finishes.
