Until the Next Journey: Reflections on Solo Travel with Silversea

What is that old adage? All good things must come to an end? It’s been an amazing month filled with laughter, joy, fun, amazing excursions, new friends and most of all a heart filled with gratitude.

As I sit in the British Airways Concorde Lounge I reflect on the fact that SilverSea never fails to deliver. The Dawn is a magical place.

As a solo woman traveler (of a certain age with some annoying mobility issues!) I am blessed to have found a way to travel the world that works for me. Be not afraid if you are a solo traveler. Put on your adventure hat and go forth. You will find that you are stronger than you think, and you will not be alone if you reach out. Strike a conversation in a lounge, at a table. Smile. And most of all. Be kind to yourself!
