Banana Mocha Collagen Smoothie
This is one of our favorite smoothies either pre or post workout. The collagen gives you a nice boost of protein and will help you have a better workout and/or recover faster. It’s packed with fiber, magnesium, potassium, vitamin C and folate. The ingredients yield one serving and can be easily doubled as needed!
Ingredients
Yields: 1 serving
1 cup of Almond Milk
2 ounces strong coffee or espresso
1 small frozen banana
1/2 cup of pitted dates (or a big scoop of our pre-made blended date mixture - perfect for this)
1 tablespoon mocha powder
1 scoop of Collagen - whatever brand you like
2-3 cubes of ice as needed
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and mix until completely smooth.
Ensure your bananas are frozen - that’s what gives it the smoothie / ice cream like texture we all love!
